The battle of evil against good exists even in the technologically advanced world of SEO. Black hat, white hat - what does this mean?
Most of the "Black Hat" techniques are completely useless then (ie not working) or that only provide short-term results. It is essential that you are aware of and can easily detect the bad practices so that you do not get scammed in the next wonder product "or service that you see (and there are hundreds of them).
The following are some common "Black Hat SEO techniques" ...
Link Farms - Link farms are a lot of websites created with a job in mind - to link to other websites and create backlinks. They have little or no usable content and simply link to other sites. Generally, you can buy the bonds of these farms (in order to increase their number of backlinks) for a price, but this is simply not worth it. As soon as the search engines recognize the site as a link farm, ignore all the links. It is quite possible that you could get a "black list" for this kind of thing and end up ruining all your efforts.
When I was new to SEO, I bought 1000 backlinks of one of these link farms and projections for huge results. Google Webmasters only detected about 30 of them (one thousand!) And in a month or two that were lost (or deleted). I was just lucky that I did not get banned!
Cross Linking - Similar to the link farms, this is the practice of linking a lot of web sites you own. Besides being ineffective, the cost of this type of practice is simply a waste of money (given that you can easily get the links in the writing of articles, etc.).
Cloaking - Cloaking is having essentially two different pages - one that your visitors see and that search engines see. This page lets you create a highly optimized for search engines, and a very "pretty" page for the users. This practice is frowned upon by search engines and in most cases get your site banned in a few months.
Duplicate Content - Whether the same content on different pages within your website or copied content from another site - search engines do not like this for a reason - there is no value to the visitor. This re-emphasizes the importance of ensuring that your website has quality, original content. If you need to use the content from another site, be sure to link back to them by copyright.
Keyword Stuffing and Labels - This involves stuffing your title, meta and header tags with keywords artificial. Remember that SEO has to do with maintaining a balance between readability and legibility of the human search engine. A header keyword stuffing does not make much sense for either party!
Hidden text - In order to create keyword rich content pages, some clever optimizers will insert a lot of keyword rich text at the bottom of the page, which is the same color in the background - so it is invisible north face thefor humans, but visible to search engines. This worked very well until the search engines caught on ... Do not waste your time trying this.
Link Pages / Exchanges - often find websites with pages of links "or" Pages of resources. "They will use this page to exchange links with other sites (thus increasing backlinks.) Search engines do not give this tactic a lot attention when it comes to their search engine optimization. Just see it for what it is and ignore the links in this regard. Unidirectional, relevant links is what SEO is all!
Excessive internal linking - use of internal links visitors directly to relevant content on your site nfl jerseys wholesaleis an excellent practice. The use of internal links in excess by the mere creation of links is not. Create internal links where they feel they could make your site MBT Kisumu discounteasier to use - do not overdo it.
Spamblogs - machine is generated blogs (or sometimes created by the user) that exist merely to introduce keyword rich content on a blog and get search engines. If you are using a blog on their website (which I recommend you do), write quality content that attract real visitors, not only the search engines. A good blog can generate a great deal of trust for you or your company and make the sales process infinitely easier.
